In-Person lessons will be held at my house (16 Sugar Creek Rd. North Little Rock, AR 72116).
Virtual lessons are available when travel is an issue or a family member is ill. All virtual lessons will be held over Zoom, unless the student would prefer to use FaceTime. Make sure you have the latest version of Zoom downloaded onto the device, plus an additional device (also logged into the studio login page) to play tracks/accompaniment. Please contact me ahead of time if you’d like a virtual lesson and I will send you the link.
Each new student will need to bring a pencil and binder. As we begin to build our repertoire for the summer, please print all sheet music and add it to this binder. In addition to these supplies, students should also bring a bottle of water. A mask should be worn if the student is under the weather, but well enough for a lesson – or if they have been knowingly exposed to covid-19.
Total monthly tuition is due upon receipt of the invoice, unless other arrangements are made. I will be sending invoices out via Quickbooks at the end of each month for the upcoming month’s tuition. If you have a question about payments, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
- 30 minute lessons – $30/lesson
- 45 minute lessons – $45/lesson
- 1 hour lessons – $60/lesson
RESCHEDULING, CANCELLATIONS, & LATE ARRIVALS
I do my best to be flexible and accommodate changes in schedules on a monthly basis. At the end of each month, I will send a confirmation email to you reminding you to check the upcoming month’s schedule for your student. This is the time to let me know of any conflicts. If a student is sick and unable to attend their lesson, please let me know ASAP so the lesson can be rescheduled – or consider switching to a virtual lesson for that day.
Students who miss a lesson without proper notice (at least 48 hours) will not receive a refund for that lesson and are not guaranteed the option to reschedule. Students who miss more than 2 lessons without proper notice and payment may be in jeopardy of losing their lesson space for the semester.
I will do my best to reschedule lessons as requested if my schedule permits. If we are unable to reschedule a lesson (and the parent/student provided proper 48 hour notice) any payment received for that lesson will be credited to the next month.
If a student is running late, please text me to let me know the estimated time of arrival. Students that arrive late are not guaranteed the full length of the voice lesson.
I love communicating via phone call, text, or email. Ideally, I prefer email communication for scheduling because I can flag important items. If it is urgent, then send me an email followed by a text letting me know that you sent an email and need a response. Please text me if you need to communicate something about your lesson that is scheduled that day (for example, running late, or need to cancel) – then please do text.
I would really like to encourage all of my students to spend additional time at home practicing. This will help all students move to the next level as a musician/actor. Here are the suggested practice times based on the frequency of lessons:
- Weekly lesson students should practice at least 20-30 minutes 2-3 times a week.
- Bi-weekly lesson students should practice at least 20 minutes 3-4 times a week.

If you are feeling ill, showing symptoms related to COVID-19, or have had a COVID-19 exposure, please let me know. Depending on how you are feeling, we can switch to a virtual lesson that day or reschedule your lesson. If you have knowingly been exposed to COVID-19, but are not showing symptoms, please wear a mask in your lesson – if you are showing symptoms, please switch to a virtual lesson or contact me to reschedule. Symptoms of COVID-19 include:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
