ABOUT ME

I grew up in Cedar Hill, TX (near Dallas) and have also lived in Atlanta, GA. I now reside in North Little Rock with my family (Daniel, Lucy, Will, and Piper the Dog).  I hold a Bachelor of Music degree in Musical Theatre from Ouachita Baptist University where I graduated cum laude.

I have been honored to work as a teaching artist, director and actor in various theatres across the United States – including Missoula Children’s Theatre, Dallas Children’s Theatre, and Wildwood Park for the Arts.

I opened AKCollier Studio LLC in the fall of 2016, focusing primarily on growing my vocal studio. I have been a member of the Arkansas Arts Council’s Teaching Artist Roster since 2017, which allows me to work with children and adults of all ages sharing my love of  the arts with communities across Arkansas. Alot of my AIE work has been with Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council and Arts Integration Services.

I’ve music directed Oklahoma!, The Prom, and Spring Awakening at Actors Theatre of Little Rock (ATLR) and The Hunchback of Notre Dame at the Royal Theatre. Favorite roles include: Eve/Ma Noah in Children of Eden, Lenny in Crimes of the Heart, and Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins the Musical, and Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods. In addition to this, she hosted Spotlight Cabaret (formerly Cast Party Cabaret), a monthly event at Argenta Contemporary Theatre. Angela’s next project is playing the role of Bonnie in Come from Away at ATLR.
